Coaches CornerCoaches Registration RequirementsCoaches Registration Requirements for the 2011-2012 Season Applies to all Colorado Coaches regardless of Division/Age Level Required Documentation Prior to Putting a Coach on any Team Roster:
When submitting rosters, Registrars are requied to certify that they have a copy of these three (3) documents. Do not expect your Registrar to put you on a team roster prior to receipt of these documents. CAHA Online Registration for Coaches, Managers, Refs, Board Members, & Billet Families for 2011-2012 SeasonNOTE: Coaches MUST register with USA Hockey first. Your USA Hockey 2011-2012 Registeration Number is required. All coaches (head and assistants), managers, refs, board members, billet family members and anyone else 18 years or older that have unsupervised contact with minors must register online with CAHA and consent to a background check. This requirement does NOT include parents that run the clock, keep score, or man the penalty box. This registration is required annually and the current registration is for the 2011-2012 Season only. Concussion TrainingAll coaches (head and assistants) must provide their Association/Independent Team Registrar with a copy of their Concession Training Certificat prior to being rostered with any 2011-2012 Season Team USA Hockey Coaching Clinic Link All coaches must register online for coaching clinics. If you do not have a credit card, you can obtain a prepaid card from a grocery store, the bank, etc., for the amount of the clinic and use it to register online. Important Note: The new USA Hockey tool requires coaches to create a user profile on USAHockey.com, which is not the same as registering for a coaching clinic. The name and address you entered for your usahockey.com profile must match the information in their database. Please review the information on the USA Hockey website for Coach's Registration Manual and tips for establishing and maintaining your profile. |
